Group Engels goes for a solid digital foundation with Dynamics 365.
Engels Group went through a special transition over the last few years. Not only did this customer move from Paardenmarkt in Antwerp to a brand new building in Malle, but they also said goodbye to the AS400 application and switched to Dynamics 365 Business Central and iFacto Distri+!
This wholesaler in electrical household appliances, and also distributor of HVAC applications and solid surface, has optimized not only the entire ERP, but the entire IT landscape. This included the launch of 3 fully integrated web shops, including a PIM system. Thanks to the move to their new location, Engels Group was also able to immediately activate the WMS modules of Distri+ and make a nice efficiency improvement in the warehouse with the Distri+ Warehouse Scanning. At the operational level, they also considered how modern software tools could boost productivity. The document management tool Datahaven, together with the smart employees of Engels Group, ensured that paper was replaced by digital images and that administrative processes were simplified.
The most recent expansion in terms of digitalization came from the sales team, Dynamics 365 for Sales was set up in collaboration with our colleagues at Infront.
