Driven by its ambition and growth, iFacto Group set up a new company based in Breda. 'iFacto Business Solutions Nederland' will take over the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, DX Steel and Pro Staal operations from Datamex Automatisering with effect from 1 November. Through this route, iFacto Group grows internationally to a company with 160 employees and a turnover of no less than €22 million.
"With this acquisition, we not only expand geographically into the Netherlands, but with dx steel from now on, we also have a solution for the steel and metal industry," says Steven Arrazola de Oñate, Managing Partner of iFacto Group. "iFacto was already active with total solutions for wholesalers, distribution companies and food companies. Finally, it also has solutions for finance departments and production companies which need digitisation and adequate reporting."

Synergies and high growth potential
"This collaboration not only creates a huge synergy in terms of product development, sales, marketing and recruitment, but also creates a substantial growth potential for the coming years. Our five offices are a perfect base to quickly serve the 600 customers in Belgium and the Netherlands," says Steven Arrazola de Oñate of iFacto Group. "iFacto will make additional substantial investments in dx steel, the complete solution for the steel and metal industry based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central".
The foundation for this was laid in the 1980s by Datamex with the development of Pro Staal, a solution based on 'Progress' technology. The company currently has 30 customers in steel and metal, which are mainly located in the Netherlands. Offering DX Steel also fully in the Microsoft Cloud will greatly increase this number, first in the Netherlands and Belgium, then in the rest of Europe.
"iFacto and Datamex Automatisering share the same premises and will continue to work closely together. The latter will be able to provide IT & Managed Services for iFacto's customers in the Netherlands," concluded Rik Peters of Datamex.
In addition, iFacto will also tap into the Dutch market from Breda with Distri+ and DistriApps, a total solution for wholesalers and distribution companies based on Dynamics 365 Business Central. In Belgium, iFacto is the market leader in this sector with more than 180 customers. At a later stage, Breda will also be the possible base to roll out other activities from the group such as Dynamics 365 F&O and CRM to the Netherlands.

The iFacto Group currently employs 3 MVPs (Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals); Eric Wauters and Vjeko Babic for Microsoft Business Applications and Yannick Reekmans for Microsoft Office 365 Development. "In a highly competitive sector, finding and keeping the right employees is always a challenge. So the fact that we have a fantastic team, complemented by these 3 top players, gives us quite an edge." explained Steven Arrazola de Oñate. "This year, 29 new employees have already been recruited in Belgium, quite an achievement in a market where 'The War for Talent' is raging fiercely. This acquisition now adds another 20 new colleagues in the Netherlands."

The iFacto Group now has 7 companies with a combined 160 employees active in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, E-Commerce, CRM, PowerPlatform and Modern Workplace. From its branches in Kontich, Hasselt, Ghent, Kortrijk and Breda, a turnover of €22 million is realised with 600 customers such as Varo, Mateco, Accent Group, X²O, LivWise, Berghoff, Filliers, Ravago, Voka, Jan De Nul....
"In the past year, the company has doubled in size. Over the next five years, we want to replicate that, both through organic growth and through acquisitions or start-ups of new initiatives," Steven Arrazola de Oñate concludes. "Additional expansion is expected by the end of this year, allowing us to reach the 200 FTE mark and €27 million turnover. Perhaps I will be able to tell more about this within a month."
