This retailer consists not only of several branches, but also multiple companies. Therefore, when switching from the old system (in-house development) to Dynamics 365 Business Central and iFacto Distri+, a 'Single Logistics - Multi Finance' set-up was chosen. Here, the logistics are controlled centrally while the financial transactions run separately, without the user having to switch companies. The central stock is handled by means of an integration with third party logistics partner(s). Only the stock in the stores is considered a separate branch. In each store there is a POS system (Tilroy) where a full integration with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Distri+ was set up.

Since there are several financial administrations, efficiency was also gained in this subdomain. Here, Continia Document Capture takes care of the automation and recognition of incoming documents, where an approval flow can be started via the Continia Web Portal. Furthermore, X2O tries to have as much interaction with its partners as possible via EDI.

In addition to the aforementioned integrations, links were also made with a PIM system (Akeneo), BI tool (Birds), parcel services as well as with DeliveryMatch in order to get the shipments to the end customer on time. To make these integrations run smoothly, a middle layer was used as a central service between the different software systems, fully hosted in Azure.
